Why do I need a hard water  detox?

AZ has some of the hardest water in the country. Minerals found in hard water, as well as,  product or medication build up on your hair  prevents your curls  from receiving necessary hydration. This can lead to excess frizz, lack of curl definition, damaged curls and scalp issues. It can also prevent color or lightener from penetrating the hair properly.  This may cause an uneven deposit of color, an undesirable tone from color, uneven lifting when lightening, or even a chemical reaction that can melt your hair  and burn your scalp.   When this build up is removed, a clean canvas is created which allows your home care products,  color and lightener to  perform optimally.The detox guarantees we achieve  the best results from all of my sessions  and is beneficial and necessary for overall hair health.

When should I reserve my Curl Discovery Detox?

If you are starting your curl journey, I recommend reserving this session prior to your Curl Essentials session. This will allow us to see your curls full potential and customize haircut to those results.   The Curl Discovery Detox is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED  at most 2 weeks prior to any color session. I cannot guarantee any results of  a color session if the CULR DISCOVERY DETOX is skipped.

How do I reserve a session?

Reservation Instructions: Step 1: Use any of the "Reserve Now" buttons to be redirected to the reservation site. STEP 2: Click on the “Schedule Now” Step 3: Select NEW GUEST SESSIONS form the Categories drop down option.  Step 4: Select the “Weekday New Guest Sessions”  or the "Saturday New Guests Session" from the Category drop down option. ​ Step 4: Once you have selected the session that you would like, click on the  "Choose Date & Time". You will be required to put a credit card on file (securely stored)to reserve your session, however you will not be charged anything until the end of your session with me. At that time, you can use whichever payment method is most convenient for you. NOTE:When selecting your time, please try to reserve the first or last time available.

How do I arrive at my session?

Please arrive with clean with no product, detangled and fully dried hair. Please do not use any styling products. Please avoid securing your curls in anything that will alter your natural curl pattern such as, hair ties/scrunchies, bobby pins, clips, headbands, braids, ponytails, hats or buns.

No reservations are available, now what?

You may add yourself to the waitlist. This option will appear if there are no available reservations for your selected session. By adding yourself to the waitlist, you will be notified via email if a reservation becomes available within your requested date and times.
